EXCITING NEWS…
Life Changers International Church is once again putting “love into action.”

The ongoing impact of the coronavirus has created unprecedented needs in our church and our community, and it will require an unprecedented response. So many families around the Chicago area are struggling to put food on the table. We have partnered with local and regional farmers to distribute 1,000, 50-pound sealed boxes that include farm-to-table fruits and vegetables, meat, milk, cheese, and bread. Please click here for all of the details.

Thank you for your consistent missions and outreach support. It would be impossible to do everything we do without you. Your missions’ support is reaching tens of thousands of people (multiplied), including the unreached and unchurched, through our online global church, Daily Bread, solar power audio Bibles, YouVersion Bible studies, and television. We are, in a sense, your global missionaries… ambassadors! Together, we are bringing this unparalleled message of God’s love and grace to our world! Give here.

Tuesday, March 17, 2020 – Update #4

Hey Gang,

Now more than ever, we must stick together as a church family. I love you all and want you to know our best days are ahead!

The Governor of Illinois has now banned any gatherings larger than 50 people for the next few weeks. I don’t fully agree with this mandate, but will honor it. I’m convinced that God will turn this around for good, just as He promised! As I’ve always said, what the enemy sends to defeat us, God bends to complete us!

We will continue to gather as a church family ONLINE until the ban is lifted.

We are still the church. We are still Life Changers! So, let’s rally together around our ONLINE church experience and remain the church that loves unconditionally, teaches uncompromisingly, and encourages unceasingly. The gates of hell will not prevail against us. Amen?!!!

I am believing for a unique and special time together ONLINE. Healing will flow and the anointing of our church will continue to grow!

ALL services will be ONLINE ONLY at the regularly scheduled times effective this Wednesday, March 18, and this Sunday, March 22.

Here’s what I am asking of all of us:
1. Be the church ONLINE. YOU MATTER! There is power in your presence. (Heb. 10:25)
2. Engage! Let me hear your AMENS and comments on any of our platforms.
3. Give ONLINE or mail your tithe to our church address below. Our mission doesn’t stop, neither can our giving. (Prov. 11:24-26 MSG)
4. Pray for revival.
5. Let’s invite others to church with this link.
6. Let’s introduce people to JESUS with this link

Below is a list of all the ways you can join us ONLINE for our upcoming service experiences. Pick the one that works best for you.

Our staff will continue to be in the offices every day. If you need a friend or someone to just talk with or pray with, please call. If you want to drop in, please let us know. We’re here for you.

If you would like one of our PASTORAL CARE team members to pray with you, please call our prayer line: 847-645-9100. You can also email us at online@changinglives.org if you have any further questions.

I am your Pastor. We are family. We will be here for you.

I love you all,

Gregory Dickow
Founder & Senior Pastor
Life Changers International Church

Sunday, March 15, 2020 – Update #2

Dear Beautiful Life Changers Church Family,

THANK YOU for gathering with us for church on Sunday, March 15, and it was my honor to worship Jesus with all of you who joined us online or on-site! You can click here to hear my message, “The Blessing and Power of the Blood Covenant”!

While there were many ways churches were responding to the coronavirus crisis, I wanted you to hear from me, personally, about the four reasons why we WILL still continue to worship together at our church campuses and online until further notice.

First, we truly believe we have a covenant of health and healing that Jesus purchased for us on the cross. It’s my belief that in times like these—the church should lead the way in calm and biblical responses to crises. And we have not been given the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Secondly, speaking of a sound mind, it is my belief that each of us, who are born-again, possess the mind of Christ. And therefore, we can walk in the spirit of faith AND wisdom at the same time. How? By using our faith in prayer, speaking God’s word, and rallying together.

And at the same time, we must use practical wisdom to wash our hands regularly, as a new normal (if it hasn’t been our habit), and to follow stringent hygiene of the highest standards. We must help to preserve the health of our church family, by getting treatment if symptoms exist in your body and by watching online if you feel contagious symptoms.

Thirdly, I spoke in our recent service about our beautiful covenant rights that Jesus has so graciously given to us—including our right to divine health and healing. You can click here to hear my message, “The Blessing and Power of the Blood Covenant”!

Having said all that, no one should feel shame or a “lack of faith” if, in their personal discretion, one chooses to join our online community, rather than in person. I am confident the peace of God will act as umpire in each of our hearts. That said, now is the time people need to know there is power in the blood of Jesus and power in the gathering of God’s people.

There is much anxiety and fear, and we have the cure for that!

And finally, let me also be clear that we are taking great measures to help protect you—our church family—and do our part to help prevent the spread of this infection.

  1. If you’re facing symptoms of any kind, we advise you to stay home and join us for service online here.
  2. For onsite attendance, until further notice, we will be holding our services in our main auditoriums as always, with additional rooms available if our attendance exceeds the recent government mandate.
  3. Life Changers Kids classes will continue to be open as normal. Please refer to our wellness policies here with the details on our current precautionary measures. Be assured, there are sanitizers in every classroom, and every toy has been disinfected, and will be again before every service.
  4. We were excited to take communion as a congregation this past Sunday. Going forward, we will be using new pre-packaged communion sets as a way to ensure proper hygiene.
  5. You’ll find additional hand sanitizer around the church in the bathrooms, kids check-ins, classes, and lobbies.
  6. Our Facilities and Host Teams wiped down with a high-grade disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner on all surfaces, door handles, and will continue to sanitize every arm rest in the auditorium before each service.
  7. There will continue to be plenty of space if you feel the need to keep a certain distance from other people.
  8. Our Host Teams will not be giving you the normal handshake or high-five. Instead, they will go for the air fist bump or a wave. 👊😀
  9. We have also identified space that can be used if someone begins to feel flu-like symptoms during one of our services.
  10. We are actively listening carefully to the latest State and Federal Regulations for any further actions needed. Please continue to visit our website and social media platforms for any and all updates. We also encourage you to visit the CDC website here for best practices.

We have an abundance of promises of His protection over our well-being. Psalm 91:10, “No evil shall befall you nor shall any plague come near your tent.”

Most of all, let’s keep showing love in practical ways to those around us.

For my daily devotional of faith, click here. We as a church family will be declaring this daily.

So, as of now, our celebration of life and redemption through the shed blood of Jesus will continue. We will get through this crisis and the next ones that come, the same way—loving God’s Word, worshiping Jesus together, and being the church—that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against!
